The official opening ceremony of the Armenian Embassy in Uruguay was held with the participation of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Uruguayan Foreign Minister Omar Paganini.
The Armenian foreign minister raised the flag of Armenia, after which the national anthems of Armenia and Uruguay were played.
The event was attended by a number of other high-ranking officials, including Acting Vice President of Uruguay Graciela Bianchi Poli, National Representative for Montevideo Ana Olivera, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Montevideo, public and political figures.
