Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told Izvestiya what Putin told Pashinyan during the events of September 2023.
“When people started to leave Karabakh, Pashinyan asked Putin,’Vladimir Vladimirovich, why did you leave the people of Karabakh to the whims of fortune?’
The President of Russia replied, ‘I’m sorry, but it was you who decided that they are no longer your citizens or that they have no other citizenship except the Azerbaijani one,’” Lavrov said.
