Several EU countries are expected to recognize the State of Palestine by the end of May. High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said this on Monday in the session of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.
“We really intend to recognize the Palestinian state,” Borrell said.
In March of this year, Spain, Ireland, Malta and Slovenia announced their joint intention to recognize the State of Palestine.
