Seven people, including one teenager, were killed in a shooting in the city of Philadelphia, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, local TV channel ABC Philadelphia reports.
“Police launched an investigation after seven people, including a teenager, were shot in North Philadelphia on Wednesday night,” the TV station said.
The condition of the other people injured in the shooting is stable.
“We believe that the perpetrators of the attack deliberately shot at the crowd. Someone in the crowd could have been their intended target,” Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
The suspects ran away from the scene of the crime; their car was caught by the police cameras, the TV channel said.
