Azerbaijani SOCAR started supplying gas to Croatia on Sept. 1. Thus, along with Turkey, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia, Croatia became the tenth country receiving Azerbaijani gas.
To remind, the European Commission, led by Ursula von der Leyen, avoided any step that could jeopardize the energy cooperation with Azerbaijan. The efforts of the European Commission have not been fully embraced by all EU member states, many of which have strong energy ties to Baku.
