U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien paid tribute to the Armenians who lost their lives in the decades-long conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“The United States is committed to working with the Armenian government to assist those who have lost their homes and livelihood. We underscore our steadfast support to concluding a durable and dignified peace agreement to finally bring stability and security to the region,” the embassy said in a statement.
