40% of Aleppo under terrorist group control
Terrorist groups led by the militant group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have reportedly managed to gain control over more than 40% of the western districts of Aleppo, Syria’s second-largest city, Al Mayadeen reports.
“The armed groups have taken control of more than 40% of the western districts of Aleppo, in northern Syria,” the source stated.
Yesterday, the newspaper Al-Watan released a footage, where a Syrian military official announced that the Syrian army remained in the western part of Aleppo, while separate terrorist groups had infiltrated the city’s several neighborhoods.
