Samvel Shahramanyan meets with protesters

A meeting has begun between Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan and a group of people from the April 18 protest held outside the Artsakh Representation. The meeting is closed.

The primary topic of discussion is the protesters’ demand for accountability regarding the alleged embezzlement of $467 million from the Artsakh Investment Fund, which they claim has affected 48 families.

During the April 18 demonstration, protesters had called on President Shahramanyan to march with them to the Prosecutor’s Office. Shahramanyan declined the request but instead invited them to a discussion.
