Armenia’s Foreign Ministry expresses condolences to Iran

We are deeply saddened by the tragic explosion in Bander Abbas which resulted in numerous casualties, Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

“Our deepest condolences to the Government and friendly people of Iran as well as to the families and loved ones of the victims. Wishing a speedy recovery of those who were injured,” the ministry stated.

To remind, on the afternoon of April 26, a powerful explosion thundered in the port of Bander Abbas in southern Iran, damaging the port’s administrative building.

The explosion was so powerful that it was also felt on the island of Kish in the Persian Gulf, which is located 20 kilometers from the port.
