Protest actions outside the offices of international
organizations are again staged in Yerevan. Protesters call for the release of
the people arrested by Azerbaijan.
“It turns out that our neighboring state was able to
abduct and arrest our citizen, to take him to Baku without providing any
information and then announce that the abducted man contacted his family
through the help of the Red Cross. However, his family members denied it,
saying that he did not get in touch with them at all,” one of the
protesters said.
According to the protester, people and human rights form the
basis of all international organizations. However, now it turns out that human
rights can be violated in such a way. Thus, Azerbaijan abducts a man without
giving any reason, and this act is not denounced by international
organizations.
“Azerbaijan has made clear to us that it does not want to
listen to our side. They want to take their actions and want the Armenian side
to be on the same page about these actions,” the protester said.
