Putin-Erdogan meeting in Turkey being arranged
The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is now being arranged, the details are being agreed through diplomatic channels. However, the exact date and place of the meeting is yet unknown, RIA Novosti reports, citing its sources in the Turkish administration.
Earlier, Putin announced his plans to meet with Erdogan early in 2024. The two leaders were to meet before this. However, the meeting did not take place because of the Turkish president’s heavy work schedule.
Erdogan, in turn, announced that he was going to meet with Putin to discuss the grain deal.
