Iran made strikes on two bases of a Sunni militant group, Jaish al-Adl, in Pakistan.
Earlier, Tehran had attacked northern Iraq and Syria.
Yesterday, Jaish al-Adl, considered a terrorist group by Iran, carried out attacks on the Iranian security forces based in the border regions.
Pakistan has announced two children were killed, and three others were injured in the Iranian strikes. The Iranian chargé d’affaires was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan to be presented with a letter of protest.
