EU Commissioner for Enlargement: Armenia is the only country with which we are negotiating visa liberalization

Armenia is truly moving toward EU accession, and the European Union is ready to support Armenia in this rapprochement process. This was stated by EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.

"At present, this is the only country with which we are negotiating visa liberalization. We support Armenia in many areas, including economic diversification, because Russia has banned the import of goods from Armenia. With the support of EU member states and the European Parliament, the Union has adopted autonomous trade measures that allow Armenia to export about 80% of its goods to the EU duty-free. And, of course, there is a special package for Armenia's economic development," the diplomat stated answering to the question of Armenian journalist.
