The Trade Union of Yerevan State University called on all YSU professors and employees to join the nationwide protest and peaceful acts of disobedience.
The YSU Trade Union urged the university’s leadership to in no way obstruct the actions of YSU lecturers and employees who have expressed a desire to join the protests and acts of peaceful disobedience.
“The YSU Trade Union will now follow all the actions of the YSU leadership. If we notice cases of persecution or obstruction, we reserve the right to use all measures under Armenian legislation to prevent such actions of the YSU leadership and to protect the rights of employees,” reads the statement.
