Garnik Danielyan: The holy work of protecting one’s homeland does not accept any weather conditions

We had two worries before the start of the rally: One was about the disaster in Lori and Tavush provinces, and the other was about the forecasted weather in Yerevan, MP Garnik Danielyan from the opposing NA Armenia Alliance told ABC Media.

According to him, they contacted the local authorities in the morning to understand how they could be useful. Community leaders said the main problem is financial.

“We express our support to everyone, our dear brothers and sisters. Should there be a need, we are ready to send medical and volunteer groups. But we have been assured that there is no need for assistance at the moment,” Danielyan said.

According to him, they will not deviate from today’s plans for the rally, even though weather conditions are trying to prevent it in every way. He also called on his compatriots to join the struggle because no weather conditions stopped them on their way from Tavush to Yerevan.

“We know what we are fighting for: the existence and protection of our homeland, our state. This holy undertaking cannot be interrupted by rain, hail or any other weather. Going on with this work, we must reach a logical conclusion. The holy work of protecting one’s homeland does not accept any weather conditions,” Danielyan said.
