U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres has arrived in Astana, Kazakhstan, to attend the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation scheduled for July 3–4.
The information about Guterres’s arrival was spread by the press service of the U.N. Earlier, the press service reported that Guterres would also visit Almaty and would have a meeting with Kazakhstani President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This is the second official visit of the U.N. secretary-general to Kazakhstan.
