Belarus considers the development of constructive relations with Armenia important, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day.
“Minsk will continue to advocate for the expansion of mutually respectful and constructive dialogue with Yerevan,” Lukashenko’s press service said.
As the president of Belarus noted, “Belarus and Armenia are connected with strong friendly ties, common history, traditional family and Christian values”.
“Our peoples are united by the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the joint heroic overcoming of the consequences of the Spitak earthquake, membership in integration organizations and close business partnership,” Lukashenko said.
He is convinced that “in order to survive and develop successfully in the present conditions, we must unite and cooperate.” The Belarusian president wished all Armenians peace, kindness and prosperity.
