Earthquake 3–4 magnitude occurs in Armenia
At 7:40 p.m. local time (at 3:40 p.m. GMT) on July 18, an earthquake, measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale, happened 30 kilometers south of Yerevan, the RA MIA Seismic Protection Territorial Survey says.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers at latitude 40․04⁰ north and at longitude 44.51⁰ east.
In the epicenter, the shock registered a magnitude of 3–4.
The earthquake was felt in Yerevan with a magnitude of 3–4 and in Ararat Province with a magnitude of 2–4.
