The pilots of the Russian Il-76 plane, which crashed in Belgorod today, could have survived, but they sacrificed themselves to prevent the plane from crashing into a nearby village, gazeta.ru writes.
According to the chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, the plane was shot down by “the Nazi regime, which has been raised by Biden, Macron, and Scholz”. Volodin has given orders to prepare statements for the German and U.S. parliaments.
With regard to the plane crash, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry has announced it still cannot confirm its engagement in the incident. To remind, the plane was carrying 65 Ukrainian POWs to Belgorod for the exchange of POWs. Six crew members and three companions were on board the plane.
