Mark Rutte: NATO will continue to expand its presence near the borders of Russia
NATO will continue to expand its presence in the eastern flank near the borders with Russia, and will increase air defense systems, artillery, and fifth-generation fighters, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at a press conference held after the meeting with the defense ministers of the alliance.
“Allies will provide additional air defense and artillery systems and modern aircraft, mainly fifth-generation F-35s,” Rutte said.
