COEST delegates visited to Armenia and Azerbaijan

The Council Working Group on Eastern Europe and Central Asia (COEST) conducted a working visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan, noted in the statement to delegation of the European Union to Armenia.

From 28 to 30 September, COEST delegates visited Armenia, where they met with Armenian and EU stakeholders and visited EU-funded projects. From 30 September to 2 October, the COEST delegates continued their programme in Azerbaijan, where they met with officials.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange views on bilateral and regional relations, as well as on the further deepening of political dialogue and practical cooperation.

The delegation, comprising delegates from the EU Member States as well as representatives of the General Secretariat of the Council, the European External Action Service, and the European Commission, was led by the Chair of COEST, Weronika Frydryszek.
