Iran demanding response from UN Security Council regarding Israel’s occupation of Syria

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei Hamaneh has strongly condemned the Zionist regime’s aggression against Syria and the occupation of the Golan Heights, IRNA news agency reports.

Baghaei also condemned the regime’s support by Western countries and their inaction regarding the violations by the Zionist regime.

Referring to the regime’s military actions in Syrian territory, in a situation where the Syrian people are facing changes resulting from regime change, Baghaei called this act of aggression a blatant violation of the U.N. Charter and demanded an immediate response from the U.N. Security Council, urging that the occupying regime be made to cease its aggression and held accountable for it.
