Ambassador: Erdoğan will visit Syria when conditions are favorable
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan may visit Syria when conditions are favorable, Burhan Koroglu, Turkey’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, said.
The ambassador noted that İbrahim Kalın, Director of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization, has already visited Syria, and a visit by Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is planned.
“The minister will visit Syria and meet with local authorities, primarily with Ahmed al-Sharaa. After that, at a more appropriate time, President Erdoğan will also visit Syria. He has already expressed his desire to do so, but we will proceed gradually,” Koroglu said.
