Peskov: Time for Ukrainian forces to lay down the arms in Kursk is shrinking like the magic skin
The proposal by Russian President Vladimir Putin for Ukrainian military formations in the Kursk region to lay down the arms remains in effect, but time is running out for the Kyiv regime, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
“Their time is shrinking like the magic skin,” Peskov stated.
Earlier, during a meeting with permanent members of Russia’s Security Council, Putin guaranteed that Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region would be spared and treated with dignity if they laid down their arms and surrendered.
Putin’s statement was a response to U.S. President Donald Trump, who had suggested sparing the lives of the encircled Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region.
