Ruben Vardanyan: The Armenian authorities are not able to meet their obligations

Five years is long enough a period to show that the current
authorities are not able to meet their obligations. And, yes, I am ready to
join and support all constructive forces, so that the power is changed in
Armenia as soon as possible. Former State Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan
said this.

“I want us to prevent the annihilation of Armenia and to
protect the statehood of Armenia and Artsakh. I want us not to be indifferent
to what is going on in Artsakh and Armenia. I can see that the crisis we are
facing today can bring about the annihilation of both Armenia and Artsakh, as
the people, currently holding power in Armenia, are incompetent; they have no
idea what they are doing; they lack experience and have no desire to learn.
They leave the Diaspora — which has top experts — out of the overall process,”
he said.

Vardanyan is sure that the authorities not only do not know
what to do, but also do not have the ability to act; moreover, they do not want
to learn.

“They failed to fulfill all their promises. They did not
make amendments to the Constitution, nor did they manage to ensure our
security,” he said during the video conference between Yerevan and Stepanakert,
entitled ‘Pivotal destination’.
