ICRC transfers 7 patients from Artsakh to RA hospitals
On Aug. 22, under the mediation and supervision of the
International Committee of the Red Cross, seven patients, along with their
attendants, were transferred to RA specialty hospitals from the Republican
Medical Center of Artsakh Ministry of Health. The patients were transferred to Armenia
to receive immediate medical treatment.
According to the Artsakh Ministry of Health, seven patients
are expected to return to Artsakh with their attendants in ICRC vehicles today.
They were transferred to the Republic of Armenia to receive state-funded
treatment.
The Azerbaijani side still does not allow the delivery of
essential medicines and medical supplies to Artsakh in ICRC vehicles.
