South Caucasus gains special importance, Georgian PM says
Against the backdrop of global uncertainty and change, the South Caucasus region is gaining particular importance, Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze said during a panel discussion at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
He noted that Georgia has long proven itself to be a reliable bridge between Europe and Asia.
“We are doing everything possible to maximize Georgia’s role as a connecting hub. In the current context, when trade routes are facing challenges, we can offer our partners certain services. Georgia serves as a transit hub for goods, services, energy, and digital data exports. We will work to further strengthen this function for the country,” Kobakhidze added.
