Sanmakrum JSC is trying its best to maintain the good
reputation of Stepanakert as a clean town. However, the continuing shortfall in
fuel supplies causes serious, often intractable problems in the sector.
The Municipality of Stepanakert states that the town is on
the brink of a sanitation crisis.
“If the situation does not change, we will not be able
to carry out the day-to-day waste management operations in the future,”
reads the municipality statement.
