Peskov: Criminal case against Prigozhin will be dropped; he will move to Belarus

The criminal case against Wagner Group leader Prigozhin will be dropped, and he will move to Belarus. Spokesperson for the Russian president Peskov said this. 

“Our key aim was to avoid bloodshed and internal conflict. Lukashenko’s efforts went into achieving this goal,” said Peskov.

“Alexander Lukashenko has been personally acquainted with Prigozhin for a long time, and this was his proposal. We are grateful to the president for his efforts,” the spokesperson for the Russian president said.
