Europe struggles to defend itself or respond to Greenland situation, Zelensky says

Following talks with US President Donald Trump in Davos, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Europe does not know how to defend itself or how to respond to the situation surrounding Greenland, Strana.ua reports.

“Last year here in Davos, I ended my speech with the words: ‘Europe must be able to defend itself.’ One year has passed, and nothing has changed. We are still in a situation where I am forced to repeat the same words,” Zelensky said.

He added that many European leaders do not understand how to deal with the situation in Greenland and are therefore waiting for the United States to “calm down.”
