Armen Sargsyan says by remembering history, we must be able to move forward

Today we commemorate the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, but April 24 is not only a day of sorrow and remembrance, Fourth President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan said.

“It also symbolizes the vitality of our people, their persistence, determination, resilience, and the will not to be broken, as well as the strength to survive and to create anew,” Sargsyan said.

“By not forgetting our history, we must be able to move forward with optimism, hope, and faith in the future.”
