Armed attack reported on Turkey’s former foreign minister’s brother

An armed attack has been carried out in Turkey against Aydin Cavusoglu, the brother of Turkey’s former Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

According to Turkish media reports, the attack took place on Tuesday evening at the businessman’s office in Alanya.

Following the attack, Aydin Cavusoglu was taken to hospital and is currently in intensive care. His condition is reported to be serious.

Police have not yet released any official information regarding the incident, including the identity of the attacker or possible motives.
