
Roscosmos and NASA extend cooperation period
Russia’s space agency Roscosmos and NASA have agreed to extend the joint operation of the International Space Station (ISS) until 2030, Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Bakanov announced.
According to Bakanov, missions involving crews of Russian and American astronauts will also continue through 2030.
After that, the sides will continue cooperation and exchange technical expertise related to their respective national orbital stations.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said the cooperation involves developing common technical standards that could be applied to the orbital stations of both countries.
