Iranian official says Tehran won’t leave Ukraine’s actions unanswered

Kyiv’s actions will not go unanswered, the chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrahim Azizi, said following a Ukrainian attack on an Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea.

“The list of those making miscalculations is growing,” Azizi wrote on X.

Iran’s foreign minister has said Ukraine had struck the Iranian commercial vessel at Israel’s direction, with the aim of drawing Europe into the war.
