Pashinyan says TRIPP will give Armenia rail link with Iran
Nikol Pashinyan has said the TRIPP project will not only establish a direct railway link between Armenia and Azerbaijan but also integrate Armenia into the international rail network.
Presenting the government’s five-year program to parliament on Monday, Pashinyan said the railway would connect Armenia, via Azerbaijan, with Russia and Central Asia.
“The implementation of the project will also open a railway link between the Persian Gulf and the Black Sea. Armenia will thus gain a railway connection with Iran,” Pashinyan said.
