Kobakhidze: Our goal is to make the Middle Corridor faster, more reliable and more predictable

“The success of the Middle Corridor and the full utilization of its potential depend on how effectively we connect our infrastructure and transport systems. A good example of such cooperation is the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, implemented through the joint efforts of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye, which has been fully operational since June,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during his speech at the International Maritime Forum held in Batumi.

According to him, the goal is to make the Middle Corridor faster, more reliable and more predictable.

“For this, coordinated action and further strengthening of ties with the Black Sea region are important,” Kobakhidze added.
