
Grono: A visit to the Matenadaran allowed me to see firsthand the incredibly rich historic footprint of Armenian cultural heritage, including from former conflict areas
Magdalena Grono, the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and crisis in Georgia, met with Armenians displaced from Artsakh; she announced this on her X account.
“Also had the opportunity to interact again with groups of displaced Karabakh Armenians and civil society in Yerevan to hear about their situation and concerns,’’ – she writes.
Grono also wrote about the visit to the Matenadaran: ‘’A visit to the Matenadaran Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts allowed me to see firsthand the incredibly rich historic footprint of Armenian cultural heritage, including from former conflict areas’’.
She added The EU will continue its work in support of the ongoing bilateral peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
