State Security Service of Azerbaijan: Information concerning human destinies must not be a subject of political conditions
The State Commission of Azerbaijan has established direct contacts with the relevant commission of Armenia since February 2025, holding meetings and exchanging information.
This was stated by the Head of the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Ali Nagiyev, at the 4th International Conference held in Azerbaijan as part of the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons.
"However, achieving results requires accurate and complete information. Armenia must provide all information regarding the fate of missing Azerbaijanis and the locations of mass and individual burial sites, and create the conditions for opening archives and gathering witness testimonies. Alongside being a legal obligation and a humanitarian responsibility, this would be a practical expression of commitment to peace. Information concerning human destinies must not be a subject of political conditions," he noted.
