Georgian FA: Impossible not to emphasize Georgia's role in the context of the "Trump Route" project

Georgia is a very important player in the region. Considering the geographical and political realities, it is impossible not to emphasize its significant role also in the context of the "Trump Route" project, stated Maka Bochorishvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

The Minister noted that Georgia plays a crucial role in ensuring regional connectivity.

"Regardless of how routes will develop in the future and which countries they will pass through, this is of great importance for Georgia and beneficial for regional cooperation," the head of the Foreign Ministry stated.

Maka Bochorishvili pointed out that Georgia holds a strategic location, and the opportunity to access international markets via the Black Sea plays a particularly important role in this regard.

"Georgia's access to the sea is important not only for the South Caucasus, but also for Central Asian countries, which further strengthens the country's role in the development of regional transport and communication routes," the Minister added.
