Mher Grigoryan։ There is no agreement with Azerbaijan regarding the issue of enclaves
There is no agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the issue of enclaves, declared Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
When asked what proposals the Armenian side has for Azerbaijan regarding the resolution of the enclave issue, Grigoryan replied that he could not disclose the Armenian side's proposals.
"I believe the concepts and procedures regarding this issue are clearly described and regulated. We are acting strictly within the framework of the established regulations," he said.
Referring to information published days ago by Nikol Pashinyan, which mentioned a potential exchange, journalists inquired whether this meant there was a certain agreement between the parties.
"There is no agreement," Mher Grigoryan emphasized.
According to him, official press releases were issued regarding the details and results of discussions during the meetings held within the framework of the delimitation process. Grigoryan noted that around 13 meetings have taken place.
"If we had held a discussion on that issue and it had reached the status of a working meeting or discussion, you would have seen an official release where the answers to all questions would be disclosed as much as possible. Since there is none, it means there is no such thing," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Journalists also asked whether Nikol Pashinyan had recently discussed the enclave issue with the President of Azerbaijan. Mher Grigoryan replied that he did not participate in that conversation and could not say what specifically was discussed.
