Two Azerbaijani nationals detained on suspicion of plotting attacks on a Moscow energy facility and air defense system
Two natives of Azerbaijan have been placed in a pre-trial detention center in a case involving the preparation of drone attacks on a Moscow energy facility and air defense system.
The FSB has opened a criminal case for participation in a terrorist organization against two men born in 1991 and 1998.
According to the investigators, they were preparing FPV strike drone attacks against an electric power facility and "one of the key elements" of Moscow's missile defense.
The FSB referred to the detainees as "natives of the South Caucasus" without specifying their citizenship.
As Mediazona found out, the individuals in question are apparently two Azerbaijani citizens: 34-year-old Seydag Charkasov and 28-year-old Ruslan Babayev.
