Hamas studying new truce agreement in Gaza Strip
Hamas is studying the draft proposal for a 40-day truce in the Gaza Strip and the exchange of Palestinian prisoners for Israeli hostages, Reuters reports.
“Palestinian Islamist group Hamas has received a draft proposal from Gaza truce talks in Paris which includes a 40-day pause in all military operations and the exchange of Palestinian prisoners for Israeli hostages at a ratio of 10 to one,” Reuters writes.
As noted, the draft proposal provides for the repair of hospitals and bakeries in Gaza and the entry of 500 aid trucks into the Gaza Strip daily.
