Hundreds of refugee tents flooded in Gaza after rain and strong winds

As a result of the strong wind and heavy rains, the refugee tents located in different parts of the Gaza Strip have been flooded; others have been blown away by the wind.

Wafa news agency reported that the rains and wind that hit Gaza caused hundreds of tents to be flooded with rainwater. Thousands of displaced people, including children and women, the elderly and the sick, spent the night outdoors in severe cold and heavy rain.

The displaced persons called on the U.N. and international organizations to provide them with shelter in the light of the harsh conditions of the war.

The war has displaced two million of the 2.4 million Palestinians of the Gaza Strip, who have left their homes to flee Israeli bombardment and have found shelter in tents.
