Everyone must realize that when the authorities are trying to convince them that they can build a new future or state by denying the past or forgetting history, they are bluffing. MP Mher Sahakyan from the opposing NA Armenia Alliance said this to ABC media.
Sahakyan, who joined the protestors outside the Government building, noted that if one does not have a past, he cannot have a future either.
Speaking about the use of force by the police against the protestors, the MP noted that the fact that the police have double standards is no news.
“We have witnessed such cases many a time; this movement, this process, is not an exception. I don’t believe that they can affect the struggle with their actions; everyone realizes that this is a struggle for the homeland, the future, and the continuation of our nation,” Sahakyan said.
