US ambassador to NATO: NATO and the US are not considering sending military advisers to Ukraine
NATO and the U.S. are not currently considering sending military advisers to Ukraine. As TASS reports, U.S. Ambassador to NATO Julianne Smith said this at a meeting with the Defense Writers Group in Washington.
“As for advisers, this is currently not being discussed in the alliance. NATO is not considering sending advisers to Ukraine. This is not approved by the secretary general. The United States is not discussing it,” Smith said.
At the same time, she confirmed that NATO does not rule out the possibility of coordinating the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
