At least eight people have died in the U.S. state of Texas due to the powerful hurricane Beryl, CNN writes.
In Houston, Timpson, Galveston and other cities, 2.5 million people were left without electricity. Some areas and highways are almost completely under water; some schools and businesses are closed, Fox 26 reports.
