Earthquake happens in Georgia
An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred near Georgia’s Chkhorotsku village in the region of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, the country’s Institute of Earth Sciences and National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported.
The epicenter was located 13 kilometers northeast of the town of Chkhorotsku, three kilometers from the village of Taya.
The earthquake happened at a depth of 17 kilometers. There have been no reports of casualties or damage.
