US presidential candidates competing for the votes of Armenians: Whom will they choose?

Are the democrats and republicans, involved in the presidential race, flirting or trying to win the hearts of American Armenians? Democratic candidate, the country’s incumbent vice president, Kamala Harris addressed Armenians on Sept. 21, clearly expressing her support for the right of the displaced Artsakh citizens to return safely to their homes, then recalled the Armenian Genocide and said that we should never forget it. The candidate, however, forgets that Armenians are not naive. They are quite aware that the elections are less than forty days away.

In the last year in office, Harris had many opportunities she could have used to impose sanctions on Azerbaijan. In particular, the spokesperson for the Armenian National Committee of America, remembers well that the Biden administration could submit a resolution to the U.N. Security Council.
