Hungary is helping Azerbaijan in ‘restoration of Nagorno-Karabakh’ and deepening strategic partnership
Hungary is engaged in the works of “restoration” of Nagorno-Karabakh, in particular, its group of companies is “rebuilding Soltanli village” by building residential buildings and social institutions there, István Vásáry, executive director of the OTS Representation Office in Hungary, told RIA Novosti.
According to him, “Hungary has repeatedly expressed its support for the restoration of the Karabakh region and the maintenance of regional stability. The aid provided can be implemented in the form of humanitarian aid, investment in infrastructure and exchange of professional experience. “It is important to note that Hungary supports the Soltanli village reconstruction project, which is being implemented under the leadership of the KÉSZ group (a group of Hungarian construction companies). The reconstruction project aims to allow 5-6 thousand people to return to the area. Construction includes the construction of residential buildings, public institutions, schools, kindergartens, hospitals and sports facilities,” Vásáry said. The head of the representation added that the project is also “symbolic because it strengthens the strategic partnership between Hungary and Azerbaijan.”
