Lebanon accuses Israel of ceasefire agreement violation
The Israeli armed forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, the press service of the Lebanese Army said in a statement.
“On Nov. 27 and Nov. 28, 2024, the army broke the ceasefire agreement multiple times by violating Lebanese airspace and attacking Lebanese territories with various types of weapons,” reads the statement.
Earlier, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces reported that Israeli soldiers had discovered a “terrorist activity” in Hezbollah’s missile storage facility in southern Lebanon, which led to an airstrike on that location. This marks the first strike since the ceasefire began.
To remind, on the morning of Nov. 27, the first ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, brokered by Biden, went into effect.
